Reading Readiness Begins at Home

Reading Readiness Begins at Home

What is reading readiness? While this phrase is focusing mainly on pre-kindergarten children, it may also apply to each child as they go into the next school year. Every school has a standard that they measure your child with. For example; a pre-kindergarten child, should be able to recognize the alphabet and the sounds each letter makes. Who has time to teach all of this to your child before they even go to school? Isn’t that the teacher’s job?   Don’t count on it. Teach your child reading readiness before they enter school by using a reading readiness application.   It will be fun and will encourage your child to learn prior to kindergarten.
